personal lil veilguard take below! not spoilery but still want to make sure people who don't want to see anything about veilguard on their dash, don't

I think playing origins and even da2 so recently is making the disparity in storytelling between the earlier games and this feel so much greater to me. even da2 had some hard hitting quests and interesting, immersive storylines.

this story is just so............... watered down in comparison

gameplay? incredibly fun. playing a rogue feels like playing baby's first god of war remake

storywise it's FINE but im trying not to think that this and the news that there's now no dlc is not being disrespectful for the long time fans of the series

I like the companions, the settings are v pretty, and the exploration is great but like ??? from a DA game??

im enjoying the game but not for the same reasons that made me love the other games

i'm not done with it yet so fingers crossed for more!
